i have a prepared page that worked when created. it contains formulas and the angle values have been specified in degrees. also the Smath-option has been set to degrees.
when i reload that saved page the prepared calculated sample values are missing. moving the mouse over the used specified angle shows the message "Object reference not set to an instance of an object"
when i set the page option to "radians" then the new values (based on the specified angles) get calculated but are wrong as the angles are specified in unit degrees. when i switch the options back to degrees the values again are missing.
is this a bug or how should this be preformed when every angle notated should be treated as degrees ?
thanks - peter

I am not sure but I think that in v0.88 the option Tools=>Options=>Calculation=>Angle was intended to be removed (not likely), or there is a bug introduced maybe. There are "degree" and "rad" as a units as well. If the the Angle option is set to Radians, numbers are in radians unless specified as degrees. Here is an example When changed the option Angle to "Degrees" the mentioned error will appear, regardless of using "degree" as unit. Therefore I think that this Option now introduces a bug. Again, I am not sure about it, but I could see that this option does not work anymore as in the previous versions. Regards, Radovan Edited by user 16 April 2010 03:23:42(UTC)

well, it worked when i initially created the page ! is there a direkt way to convert between radians and degrees (a function) or should i always use: angle*180/pi for that ? is there a way to specify that for example that the result of acos( a+b )= should directly be shown as a value in degrees ? thanks for your quick response peter Edited by user 14 April 2010 18:05:52(UTC)

Hello Peter, I think there is no way to get the results directly in degrees anymore. Therefore, there are my doubts about the Angle option. I am not sure about it (or forget it, sorry). The results will be dimensionless (regarded as Radians). You can transform the input or output values into Degrees. Please look at the picture. If I was not right, I am sure someone else will respond to your question. EDIT: In addition Using Tools=>Opions=>Calculation Angle=Degrees will cause error Regards, Radovan Edited by user 15 April 2010 13:33:56(UTC)

Fixed. Fix will be available with a new version of SMath Studio.
