I can do the calculations just fine in MathCAD and even in SMath. I am aware of being able to enter whatever unit I want in the right most placeholder of an equation. But this is not my mission. My mission is to produce a calculator that outputs the correct units for other users so that it is easier to see how this new units system works. Without having access to the language file, I cannot do this. Is there a way for me to get access to the language file?

Maths can't be "intellectual property protected",
only device(s) executing these maths can be patented.
Wish you success.

If you look at the APM Constants and Units.sm file I uploaded previously, and scroll half way down the file, you will see a section called UNITS. Below UNITS are several grids of units, which are organized according to various dimensional patterns. Many of these units are identified, but about half are not. Of those that are identified, only half of those are units in use by mainstream physics. I have identified the others. There remains many more units that even I have not identified. All of these units refer to a physical behavior created by dimensions and which applies to our physical Universe.

For example, I have identified the quantum rotating magnetic field unit, which is a quantum unit of space (Aether). There are new units for eddy current, friction, rub, plow, skid, stop, and many other phenomenon where objects contact each other. By incorporating these units into AI programs or just teaching simple high school physics classes, we can quantify and predict far more physical phenomena than present physics allows.

I am excited to understand and utilize the remaining undefined units. How much more of our physical Universe are we not understanding? And what can we do with these yet undefined units that would increase our understanding of the physical Universe?

SMath can be a major tool for advancing physics and giving ordinary people an opportunity to make fundamental, ground breaking discoveries in physics, right along with Thales, Pythagoras, Isaac Newton and Charles Coulomb.

It is unbelievably difficult to get people to understand the gold mine of knowledge I have found, and to get them interested in becoming major scientific discoverers as they help to finish this project. Opportunities like this are incredibly rare. Many top scientists dream of this type of opportunity. Sadly, when great opportunities arise, most people can't see them for what they are. I am hoping to use SMath as the primary tool for penetrating the ignorance of humanity, and to open up a system of physics far more practical and far easier to understand than what the mainstream is using, today.

I did show something *.sm. Read it and study it.

I don't know where you get the idea that I am interested in patenting or protecting information. All my research is freely available to the public, even my 300+ page eBook. The .sm sheet I uploaded contains the blueprint of the units system I have been talking about. When SMath is programmed to work with these units, the entire system of physics will be in the public domain and available for researchers around the world to make discoveries, and to write their own papers about their own successes.

It is difficult to understand the magnitude of what I am working on and which I am giving to humanity. This is because people are not equipped to handle new knowledge. I have taken physics back to the drawing board because I found some serious flaws that were injected into physics in the late 1800s. As a result of my work, I have found the third force law and have successfully unified all the fundamental forces, a task that Albert Einstein only dreamed of. I have quantified the structure of space-time and show the physics of how subatomic particles are created. I have identified the error in the mainstream concept of fusion and show that it should actually be seen as a type of Casimir effect, only applied to the proton instead of the electron. I have shown that space-time is a subset of a greater coordinate system of space-resonance. I show about a dozen more fundamental discoveries in physics, and this new system of units is essential for demonstrating its mathematical precision and practical applications to engineering.

You can download my eBook and papers from researchgate.net.
https://www.researchgate.net/profile/David_Thomson

The online versions are stripped of graphics and equations, so get the downloads.

I can't stress the importance of SMath and its future contribution to physics, since this is the only open source software that is ready to convey this knowledge. All I need to do is program in the units and it is ready to go and be freely downloaded around the world. The youngest students and the most humble of scientists will have access to a tool that will accelerate human knowledge and understanding. The power of cutting edge knowledge will be in the hands of ordinary citizens and not just major corporations, academia, or government black projects.

Think about how this fits with your view about how science and knowledge should be shared.

Personally, I never download e-books, especially unknown.
e-books are packages that come with the mother software, vg: Mathcad e-books.
Reading Wikipedia Criticism, "ResearchGate" is not so much inviting.

Dave: just attach a bit of a project *.sm.
Nothing to see, nothing to collaborate.
Why not a piece of *.PDF ?

Cheers, Jean

The downloads are actually PDFs.

As to the things I never do: I (nearly) never open .sm attachments in the forum if there is no preview giving the reader a chance to judge if it might be interesting to him.

Either this group is lazy, has no time, has no interest, or is incapable of making the changes I need to move forward. I will try again next year and see if I can make any progress. I have been working on this project since 2002 and have learned patience.

Cheers.

I've passed the argument to the author, he will look into it ASAP, so he will decide what could be the better way to help you (currently he is focused on an important refactoring of the code); as you stated above, patience is fundamental here Good

I'm replying to myself:

No matter the size of the screen shot, XP Home were all correct in the Forum.
Since I'm on Win 7 Laptop, above an unknown size, screen shot are crappy !

... after 3 days, I was finally able to download/open APM.sm
Why so long time ? Censorship of some kind ???

Maybe not so good the idea, the Microsoft Word from Mathcad 11.
If you have to add text from Smath : won't be same font, unless
using "Writer region".
I don't like your LHS definition vs Smath text [visit 1rst page].

What I understand from all that is that since modern Physics [late 1800],
New "Physicists" are proposing same studies in transposed domain [something
like Laplace, Fourier, Gallois ...].

I'm not surprised of such pretention. For instance, since LeChatelier [1887],
the reference Platinum Thermometer has never been put in formula. YES, BIMP
has two polynomial segments for the physics of the Pt that is not polynomial !
The appropriate formula is published in my huge Mathcad 11 web site,
as well as in the Smath Forum. What NONE will ever see is the underlying
pieces of maths under the hood [a kind of transform domain again].

APM Constants and Units.sm (249kb) downloaded 10 time(s).

thanks 1 user thanked Jean Giraud for this useful post.

It was quick and easy. This sheet was a reference sheet that I used in MathCAD so that I didn't have to constantly define the constants. If I can get SMath to work in APM units, I will spend weeks writing informative worksheets in native SMath. It will become my go-to application and I will promote it widely.

My math skills are not very good. I rely too much on calculators and need to take more time to understand the works of others. I did look at Fourier's work, and yes, his use of distributed frequency (resonance) employs the ideas I am promoting. Once I realized the weaknesses of modern physics, I became discouraged at how much wrong crap I would have to "learn" before fixing it and presenting a better system. This is why I have stepped back until I can get math software that is programmed to work in APM units, natively. It takes way too long to plug in units at the end of equations, especially when new units that have never before been identified keep popping up.

Where is your MathCAD 11 web site? I may find it to be a useful resource, especially since you are knowledgeable in the topics I will need to be studying.

Just Google "mathengjmg".

It is a free Google https. I stopped putting stuff since May 30 2015,
date PTC zapped all "Single User Edition", even if you had paid for !
I still have 11.2a working on an old XP Pro. none of the extension packs
are working. If I would have to do it again, many work sheets would be
simpler but as complete.
Don't mistake between Mathcad/Smath, they are not same tools, though up
until now I have none "Unsolved" from Mathcad to Smath. Often, it is
possible to manage the indexing between the two, but sometimes "ZAP !"
For instance: I managed Mandelbrot in Smath but no way YET to reproduce
the gorgeous Mathcad Mandelbrot.

If you visit "mathengjmg", the 3rd work sheet compendium contains integration
stuff. Browsing down, you will find "0_0_MCADeng_Integrate_ITER [Cadarache].
This work sheet is dead in my XP Pro. why ? The data table at top of the work
sheet is empty. It died by itself and I have no more contact with the originator(s).
Lot of the best vanishes in the blue.

Cheers Dave ... Jean

Does anybody know for sure whether the issue of custom units is actively being pursued in SMath? Is it possible to get a special build that allows for editing of the language file?

If he has not yet contacted you, contact Andrey directly (via PM, mail or skype; you can find the links in the bottom of his posts, f.e. here); decisions to share modified versions of the program as well as the development of feature SS-1 is in his hands Good
