I started re-reading KA Strouds Engineering Mathematics and have been using SMath to work examples. Please see the attached file. If I could get some comments on the various methods I attempted to use I would appreciate.

Forgot to mention - you have given me a good rule and graphical method to determine suitableness of solve function.
