I propose to add the new feature: a component is visible or not visible. It should depend on, for ex., result of the function "if". If calculation_type=1 then (dw is visible) and (gw is not visible) else ... This option will allow to make the display of the data elements dependent on the type of the calculation element. p.s. Very nice and useful software!

The way I interpret you demand is like:
conditional compute/not compute.
In some way we have that already.
How to code invisible ? Hello Gurus !

I think this exists as a plugin. Check out conditionally formatted labels plugin. More info here: http://en.smath.info/for...ly-Formatted-Labels.aspx

Hello Janusz,

Please, give more hint of what you wish. Previous replies vanished in the wind.
By default, some component(s) don't compute.
"Pixels not in the Map are black because undefined elements matrix are zero by default".
If it works for you: increase "kmax, kkmax" [my 1.6GHz very slow].

Janusz,

A limited way of doing this is to right click your if statement (or any operation) and deselect "Display input data".

This leaves you with only the result printed out.

The "if/otherwise" is common in Engineering. A less common "if"
is the the "on error", implemented as "try/on error" [6179].
In some other way, it is a "compute/not compute" component(s).
Visit this gorgeous application. 7min [1.6 GHz micro laptop.
