1. root element missing ... up until now, this kind of crash happened on Smath crash [miscoding, infinite loop ...] My "Polynomial Regress Quick" was fine and not used for months. Last week, try to open root element missing then zapped. No problem to rescue from the earliest saved backup [USB D] If caused by Smath: a damned bug ! How could have it be caused from Win 7 ???
2. The 2nd bug is something else, it belongs to latest SS Lately [2 days ago], I open the Rotavirus doctored by Alvaro ... fine. Works fine SS 6179, but breaks linking to other C:\ folders and D:\ folders. All other SS 6179 work sheets are accessible from C:\Samth6179 folder. Hopefully, it's just a bug ... not from designed coding to force upgrade.

Hello Jean, Originally Posted by: Jean Giraud 1. root element missing ... up until now, this kind of crash happened on Smath crash [miscoding, infinite loop ...] My "Polynomial Regress Quick" was fine and not used for months. Last week, try to open root element missing then zapped. This is already reported here. It shouldn't be a problem anymore since SS 0.98.6398 or 0.99.6626, at least it's what we think; unfortunately who posted the bug rarely has provided enough informations to know if the issue was triggered by a program version lower or greater than the ones in the range I've mentioned (to understand if it is still a thing). I've added a message at the end of the thread, though. Originally Posted by: Jean Giraud No problem to rescue from the earliest saved backup [USB D] Holy backups Originally Posted by: Jean Giraud 2. Jean I do not understand what you mean by "breaks linking to other C:\ folders and D:\ folders"; Could you attach the file and elaborate a little? Thank you. Edited by user 17 September 2018 17:20:59(UTC)
