you can use
Insert -> Unit -> select "degree"

or shortcut ' -> select "°"

Sorry my question was inaccurate, degrees as 360 per whole circle not radians.

Thanks for the quick reply anyway!

Regards,

Magne

Thank you!

This is exactly what I am unable to do! How do I make the trigonometric function return degrees?

Do I simply type the unit after the result? ( I am sorry if these questions are really daft!?)

Regards,

Magne

All numerical functions are approximations in computing machinery.
Trigonometric function are in radian. If you want result in °
1. click on the empty place holder of the result,
2. click on the unit drop down menu from the tool bar,
3. click on ° or deg ... scroll down for 'rad' if you want result in radian.

Thank you very much! Now I can make it work. I thought I had tried this but I probably used the input "position" wrong, I believe I simply typed it at the wrong place.

Thank you again, this is great forum!
