That's what I have explained before: maths are unitless. Units is an associated math system, each procssing. I can see Mathcad 15 was modified [after my war against units]. Jean

Jean Did you see my last screen shot? Originally Posted by: ElSid See attached. Including file and screenshots. Looks like the second transpose of D is using the Debye moment definition! Getting rid of units, the transpose of D equals the transpose of Q

For some reason , units outside the brackets of the vector, are causing the problem in the transposition of the vector Transpose Bug_1.sm (16kb) downloaded 19 time(s). Transpose Bug.sm (16kb) downloaded 14 time(s).

You keep "defining" *modified values* - like here: you try to "define" what "transposed Q" is. This is what you actually do:
transpose(Q):mat(50,80,1,2)*'gal/'min
Don't you see what's going on? Yes, you simply override built-in transpose. Everything is correct. |

In this case ... no, I did not notice the ":=" on the Transpose of Q (too fast for my own good!). I was having this happen on 5 other sheets ... This was a sample. I will check the other sheets to see if i did the same thing. Thanks for pointing that out
