Hello,

I think it could be a good idea to implement the analysis of eigenvectors and eigenvalues. I have seen some solutions in various posts, but in Mathcad it is implemented and is very easy to do.

BR,
JJ

Hi
Please take a look to functions dn_LinAlgEigenvalues() and dn_LinAlgEigenvectors(), included on DotNumerics plugin

Best,
Oscar

Hello,
I have check the functions you recomended. I don't know if the eigenvalues analysis is well done, considering units. I attach the file.

Thanks,
JJJ test_stress-tensor.sm (5kb) downloaded 5 time(s).

Values in eigenvalues vector must be in default units (N/m^2), so [5.2*10^8, 2.0*10^8, -1.7*10^8] represent [520, 200, -170]MPa

Best,
Oscar
