In desktop version, is there a way to type graphic characters using keyboard and not use side panel?

Hello SM,

If you mean on greek characters, I think there is no such functionality like CTRL+g, yet. Unfortunately, there is no tutorial for SMath also. Will be one sooner or later, no doubt Good

It's true. Will do then - it's not much time...

Thanks. Best regards.

And what to say about this.

1)If you do not have .NET installed you can just use the portable version (one single file) Good .
2)If installed with .msi, just "Check for updates", and that's it Good .

Just a minor issue. Example in Insert function for "solve" disappears again.

Checked both versions - solve(..) function example shows fine. Try to use example expression on the Page, is this works?

Do not understand "example expression on the Page", sorry.
I am quite sure I checked the missing examples in the previous build (few of them missing). You fixed that in the meantime and it was OK, if you remember. I know I checked that but forgot where (I have SMath on few computers installed, Portable and .msi version). Now, only solve is missing here on my "old-timer", ten years old computer (Believe it or not Good )

I have here few Portable versions from 0_82_3512 till 0_82_3520. Could I make a mess by running all of them (not at the same time of course).
Btw, I've noted quite improving in starting time of the recent 0.82 builds of Portable version here. Very good Good

Radovan

Hello.

I mean try to calculate solve(x^2+4*x;x). What result program will show to you?

Best regards, Andrey Ivashov.

Ha... that's the way it is !!!

Did not know that. I figured out now. If you remeber, we had some posts here about Roots(range) and you put two additional parameters to "solve" function to determine the range where the roots are searched. As the solve from the Example did not have these two arguments, it used the range from the Tools => Options => Roots(Range). As I was played with it, the range remained [-101,101] and, strangely, this range "solve" does not like at all. I returned it to, say, default [-100,100] and now it is Ok. If you remember, some users reported wrong roots with different ranges.

Regards,
Radovan
