Hi Everyone,

Recently I received some help in the Forum for a compact writing of a formula:

https://en.smath.com/for...ong-Formula-Writing.aspx

The problem behind this formula could be helpful for many structural engineers, to obtain the buckling length of a member having known ends restraints.
I mention that this formula cover both "say and non sway" buckling cases.

The backgrounds of the formula are obtained from a very interesting German book:

I put the application in the appended file:

Buckling Length.sm (1,624kb) downloaded 53 time(s).

Any suggestions or critics are welcomed.

Regards,
Ioan
