Hi everyone quite new to SMath, not so on Mathcad. i am using exclusively Linux now and i am enjoying SMath a lot. i do have a strange problem, i'll try to summarize the behavior i am experience Running latest Smath Studio (with mono installation) it works great apart the fact that if I enable the Dynamic Assistance as soon as i try to insert anything (and the assistant start working) the software crash, only way is to kill the application. Basically i must deactivate the assistant. Screenshot Errormono attached. I also installed the Windows version via Wine and assistant here is works great, very nice feature. Still i have a problem, quite annoying but not blocking, if i try to use any function via the top bar the event mouseover on the icons generate an Error dialog box asking to quit or continue, i can continue and the action is performed but it is quite annoying since even if i do not want to use the bar the mouse is often on top of it also by "mistake". Error1 attached   apart of those minor issue i am using it and evaluating to buy a license. P.S. We are working on this issue right now. It will help if you'll provide an error log under Details button in the error dialog.
I hope it will be fixed in the next release.

Yet I am not 100% sure of it, it is just a hunch. Mono version on my system (void linux) is 6.12.0.199. I don't have your problem, never happened to me. And debian based distros have some bugs with mono programs. It is not particular with smath, some mono programs just don't start without sudo.
