Thank You for the update and all your efforts.
I like the portable version as I was able to deploy it to all three of my computers by putting it in my Portable Apps folder in my DropBox folder. It shows up in the Portable Apps Launcher under Other

You can post your portable version to portableapps.com and you will get an incredible large amount of exposure as Portable Apps dot Com is a well developed and popular platform.

I used your program to document all my calculations for designing heat exchangers on two biomass furnaces I built. I am not a business yet. A year later I am still able to go back and review my notes and easily reuse calculations. YAY!!!

I just donated 25 more US dollars, I hope they are still worth something in your country.

I do not need super high powered complex Math, just the ability to document my calculations in Symbolic format. Being able to insert pictures and easily formatted text is very very important for me. I doubt these are requirements for Academia since they are primarily involved with test answers than real world use of Math.

The thing that makes MathCAD great is not its Calculation and wowee visual stuff, but its ability to DOCUMENT CALCULATIONS. Wolfram and all the others are useless to me because they are centered around calculation rather than documentation. Of Course SMath and MathCAD also do Calculation very well.

I suggested including SMath into the portableapps.com directory last year in their forums Biggrin
Please look the corresponding post at

Andrei might want to contact John T. Haller, the administrator of portableapps.com

I would love to see SMath get wider distribution so that more people would support it so maybe Andrie could support SMath full time.

I've wrote an e-mail to John on 4 April, but have no feedback for now. Will wait... I don't know, but maybe if you'll mention it on the portableapps.com forum, it will speed up the process?

    Best regards, Andrey Ivashov.

They mentioned some legal issues. What is it about?

I think it's something related to Xenocode, the product Andrey utilizes to portabilize .NET, and the way MS allows to pack their framework.
I don't know what they have in mind to support .NET, maybe just a script to detect directoy paths in user's machine. In that case Andrey would have to make a portable version without including the .NET framework.
That's just my interpretation, you can read more on this topic at
