Hi
I would like to make a request to improve the plot functionality.
some features I would like to see would be
1/ auto-scale the axis to fit the dataset being plotted by default. (don't assume 0 is a sensible start or mid point of an axis)
2/ provide a way to manually set the scale of the axis, and control number of divisions or the increment between each division.
3/ the ability to specify either axis or both as a log scale
4/ provide a way to specify that the axis values are in SI multiples i.e. f,p,n,u,m,k,M,G,T etc.without having to multiply / divide the dataset.

Thanks for a good product

A natural way to do so would be to specify the axis limits and/or divisions using quantities with appropriate units (including multiples of existing variables).

Why not ?
In the future the 2d graph control on SMath could have the same usability as these opensource javascript webapps :
graphr.org
graph.tk
