use el(cor1,1) and el(cor2,1) - you can type cor1 [ 1 and cor2 [ 1However your approach with lookups seems slow, my suggestion is to create a matrix with the possible entries and ranges ![2018-03-30 19_22_55-SMath Studio - [XLSX example.sm].png](/forum/resource.ashx?a=22661&b=2)  XLSX example.sm (16kb) downloaded 45 time(s).
