It can't be solved.
  • Look at column 2: 3 and 6 are missing.
  • Look at the empty cell in column 2, row 8: 3 and 6 are both forbidden there because they already are in that row.
  • No need to go further, that cell can't host any number.

Hi. This other version stores all the intermediate steps in the brute force algorithm, but I fail trying to animate it. Hope someone else can do it.

SudokuBruteForceAnimated_lyles.sm (24kb) downloaded 22 time(s).

The "mat" style [n:=1..9] may have other applications ?
As it looks: left over from very original Smath versions.
In many instances SS 5346 needed mat2sys conversions

It's not an animation, but adding a Slider Region makes it easier to see solutions
