Very much a newbie here, but am unable to find an answer in documentation I have so far seen.

I am finding it difficult to horizontally align different text boxes and variable definitions on a single page.

The red cursor is quite inaccurate and I was hoping maybe the TAB key might do this, but no luck there.

Is there an easy way to ensure horizontal alignment on the page of variables, and even vertical alignment is difficult - even with the grid on?

I must be missing something basic?

Thanks

From the Menu bar up there ... select regions, click align.
Horizontal/vertical align respectively on their
anchor point [top left] which is not visible in Smath.
