I have Chinese valves where from nameplate I can get Cv @100% open & that its Equal%. Now I generated a spreadsheet model which is fairly simple & then used 'Goal Seek' feature to iterate values such that I get stated Cv at 100% opening. I am uploading procedure that I followed (this document also has a small video file) I am also attaching spreadsheet file as well. External server zip file: https://www.mediafire.co...urve+Generation.zip/fileNow how can I do this in SMATH Studio? I mean construct in such a way that I change one value such until I get required CV at 100% as well as each interval increment is equal percentage Characteristic Curve Generation.zip (2,450kb) downloaded 9 time(s).

This document fits = % & quick opening. As a separate Smath document, I have the Fisher valve sizing procedure, including the pulp stock. Cheers ... Jean. Fisher.sm (35kb) downloaded 16 time(s).
