We tried to release an update of the Maxima plugin in the release manager.

There was no obvious hint on something going wrong.

Yet, when trying to access the new version from within SMath Studio, the installation fails.

The build log from the release manager shows some errors:

We observed that the directory name of the plugin has changed. Initially it was

SMath\extensions\plugins\44011c1e-5d0d-4533-8e68-e32b5badce41\1.98.8203.36407

When installing into an new sandbox (portable version) I get this:

\SMath 8348\extensions\plugins\f6052893-60c5-4ba7-a0b1-3f7ed33492d9\0.3.1.1595

So for now it seems that we spoiled the maxima plugin in the online gallery. Is there any way to roll back the changes and find out what was the problem?

You can delete anything published using the files manager (link in the homepage footer)

I suggest to search f6052893-60c5-4ba7-a0b1-3f7ed33492d9 in the sources (might be the guid of a dependancy?); solution and project files seems fine at first glance.

if you open the config file in the %appdata% folder, you get this:

Code:
0.3.1.1595
0
SharpVectors.Rendering.Gdi.dll

The "SharpVectors.Rendering.Gdi.dll" is a file in the /lib folder of the project. I am not sure how the config data manage to have that data in it instead of the MaximaPlugin.dll.

IDK, I don't see anything obvious from the changes in the project file. You have to ask Andrey, he can check the build process and find the cause.

Thanks, I deleted the new versions, installation should work now (tested with a portable version of build 8348).
