Does anyone know of a way to plot a string (Using XY Plot) at a given angle? Say that I specify the start point (x,y), string, size, and angle. \ Any ideas? Edited by user 04 April 2024 10:43:30(UTC)

Gnuplot can do this, see http://www.gnuplot.info/demo_5.1/textrotate.html . In the Maxima plugin this is supported. Note that you have to provide at least one draw object for the user_preamble option to take effect. Switching the format from png to svg or pdf in the settings menu (access via double click) produces better text quality. rotated text.sm (17kb) downloaded 4 time(s).Edited by user 04 April 2024 10:42:07(UTC)

Thanks Martin for the input. I was hoping there would be a simpler approach using just XY Plot.
