It would be great to get a tutorial that would introduce users to writing their own plugins. Just enough to get them started. I currently use Visual Basic .NET Express Edition. Could this be used for writing plugins for Smath? Thanks, Will Edited by user 12 February 2010 22:27:34(UTC)

Sure, you can use Visual Basic .NET Express Edition.
Will create a tutorial next days.

It would also be great to have a place on this forum where users could freely share the plugins that they create, if they so desired. If many users got caught up in creating their own plugins, there could eventually be a section in the forum dedicated to discussion centered around writing plugins. |

I am very curious to see how the first plugin for desktop PC would work and also would like the number of plugins to grow as quickly as possible. On the other hand, when I am thinking of SMath and the plugins, one thought is always crossing my mind: the unability of SMath to have function names as function arguments. I might be wrong, but I think that this ability is among the crucial importance features in order to have versatile and powerful plugins. I think that this ability might give higher motivation to the potential plugins creators. Just my thoughts, Regards, Radovan Edited by user 13 February 2010 02:40:43(UTC)
